We fully believe that becoming a member is the best way for you and your family to grow in your faith. When you join First Baptist Danville, you are committing yourself to God and His people, to the mission and DNA of the church, and to living out an active and personal relationship with Jesus.
How Do You Join First Baptist Danville?
Put your faith & trust in Christ Alone
The church is more than a building. The church is the living, breathing children of God, and you become a child of God by repenting from your sin and putting your faith in Jesus — both His sacrificial death on the cross and bodily resurrection from the grave.
Display Your Faith Through Baptism
Baptism is a public declaration of the inward transformation that takes place when someone follows Jesus. We require our members to be baptized in believer's baptism (whether at First Baptist Danville or at another like-minded church).
Affirm and Covenant With Our Church
Every member must affirm our core beliefs, convictions, and affirmations because we believe that in unity, there is community. Every member must also decide to covenant with our church, promises to uphold the DNA and beliefs of the church, while we as a church promise to do likewise.
