Legacy Builders
The purpose of the Legacy Builders’ ministry is to strengthen and encourage a community of senior adults, 55 and over, as well as equip them to reach, teach, minister and fellowship. It is a place adults continue to grow in faith and share the wisdom they have achieved through experience.
There will be a monthly meeting on the first Friday of each month along with other activities, trips and opportunities. You may retire from work, but you never retire from the work of the Lord!
Bible Studies
If you are interested in a Bible study, you are welcome to take advantage of these opportunities! Men meet together every other week to spend time in God’s Word and provoke one another to good works. The ladies meet each week for prayer, a book or bible study, and a time of fellowship.
Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, this is an opportunity for you to grow, to be encouraged, and to encourage others.
Adult Sunday School
Sundays at 9:30 am
Adults of all ages have a special place to find friends and fellowship, and to learn the truths of God’s Word in the Sunday School classes offered at First Baptist.
All Sunday School classes begin at 9:30am, and are staffed by dedicated teachers who seek to lead you into a deeper relationship with Christ. We offer classes specifically for ladies, singles, young married couples, and older couples alike. Wherever you are in life, First Baptist has a Sunday School class that fits you perfectly.
Ladies’ Ministries
Ladies Missionary Fellowship
This ministry is for ladies who meet together, pray, and provide special support to our missionaries! We have a lot of fun encouraging our missionaries through special anniversary trips, birthday packages, culture-specific tracts, funds for specific missionary needs, and ongoing prayers for them.
Bake & Take
This ministry is a community outreach program, organized by ladies who enjoy baking and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. We deliver baked items along with Scripture tags or tracts to first-time visitors, nursing home residents, community service workers, college students, and new contacts such as neighbors or co-workers.
Men’s Ministries
Men’s Prayer Time
All men are invited to meet at the church each Saturday morning at 7:00am for a time of prayer. Afterwards, those who are available go out for breakfast and a time of fellowship.
Men’s Gym Night
Men gather regularly to fellowship through athletics in our school gym.
Family Camp
Each summer our families attend camp together for a refreshing time of fellowship and study around the Word of God. We’d love to have you join us this summer at Camp Assurance!
