All that is done here at First is centered around the preaching of the Word of God. God has given the gift of pastor-teacher to the church, and given him the responsibility to “feed the flock of God.” Paul told Timothy to “preach the Word.” God’s Word states that it is Scripture which is capable to do a work which no man can do. Since it is God’s Word, not man, that accomplishes the supernatural process of sanctification, by God’s grace we are committed to the expository method of preaching.

2 Timothy 4:2 “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.”
